We headed over near the “Old Quarter” again today to get a better look at Hoan Kiem Lake and “The Huc” (or Sunbeam Bridge). It is a famous spot for both the Vietnamese and foreign travelers. We intended to walk the perimeter of the lake, but the hot, humid air was too much to handle. So, we decided to take a taxi over to “Vietnam Quilts” (another popular destination, especially for the adoptive community) to do a little shopping. “Vietnam Quilts” is a non-profit organization that employs local women. All their profits are re-invested into the community. We bought Dylan a quilt and some placemats and napkins—gifts for him as he gets older. Later in the day we went to see the shops located here in our hotel, and ended up getting him a few more things. It was a fun and relaxing day.

Isn't he just so precious!?
