Did I Mention How Precious He Is? (Day 4)

Dylan had a rough night. The itching is making him miserable and keeping him awake. He was exhausted today, and ended up taking a 4 ½ hour nap! He needed it. Everything familiar to him has changed (including his schedule) in the past few days. But he’s obviously content and enjoying his new family. He has the most precious smile, and praise God, we’ve seen it so many times already. He LOVES kisses…and we’re more than happy to give them.

Today was a free day for us. We had no scheduled business to do. After Dylan’s long nap, we headed out for some shopping. We went to one of the local malls, the Saigon Shopping Center, and bought him some wooden toys that were made here in Vietnam. We also ended up finding a local storefront that sold children’s clothes with hand-embroidery. It was a great find! Paul thought that if we had stayed any longer, I would have bought everything in the store…perhaps he was right. Everything was just so cute, and of high-quality too. We stopped to watch three men who were sitting in another storefront painting on canvas. The paintings were beautiful, but definitely something that would be hard to travel home with. We finished our night out with dinner at the Kim Do Hotel across the street.
